Xplora Getaways Refund Policy

At Xplora Getaways, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring clarity for our valued clients. By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below:

  1. Cancellation by the Client:
  • More than 30 Days Prior to Departure: Clients may cancel their booking more than 30 days before the scheduled departure date and receive a full refund, minus a processing fee of 5% of the total booking amount.​
  • 15 to 30 Days Prior to Departure: Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before departure will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking amount.​
  • 7 to 14 Days Prior to Departure: For cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before departure, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount will apply.​
  • Less than 7 Days Prior to Departure: Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure are non-refundable.​
  1. Cancellation by Xplora Getaways:

In the unlikely event that Xplora Getaways must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered the choice of:​

  • A full refund of all monies paid.
  • An alternative tour of comparable standards.​

If the alternative tour chosen is of a lower value, we will refund the difference. If it is of higher value, the client will be responsible for the additional cost.​

  1. Refund Process:
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving a written cancellation request.​
  • All refunds will be made to the original payment method used at the time of booking.​
  1. Non-Refundable Components:

Certain components of our tours may be non-refundable. These include, but are not limited to:​

  • Air / Train Ticket fare (refund will be as per the airline policy)
  • Special event tickets.​
  • Permits and entrance fees.​
  • Customized add-ons or personal requests.​

Clients will be informed of any non-refundable components at the time of booking.​

  1. Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellation.​

  1. Force Majeure:

Xplora Getaways is not liable for any refunds in the event of force majeure occurrences, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest.​
